BlueSky Studio received the City of Westminster’s Award for Excellence in Design and Development
for 1989 for our work on this unique retail design.
This build-to-
suit free standing retail building for a California-based company is located at the Brookhill
Shopping Center at 88th and Wadsworth in Westminster, Colorado. The design reflects the nature
of the retail business and responds as a signature building for Lamps Plus as it stands at the main entrance to the
Center. Colors and materials were selected to harmonize with the main buildings of the center. Specially designed
electric lighting fixtures were used on the exterior to call attention to the type of retail business available
inside the building.
